Are You living 7 Dimensionally Well?

Are you living your life to the fullest by being 7 dimensionally well? In order to live a rewarding and fulling life there are several areas in life that one will need to stay grounded and connected in. It is impossible to live a problem free life, challenges will present, but when they do, be prepared and dimensionally well to take them on.  There are many facets to the dimensions  of wellness, and here are 7 dimensions I live by.  Try incorporating these dimensions into your daily or weekly routine and watch your life become 7 dimensionally well.

  • Spiritually Connected– Being spiritually connected brings upon a divine experience and a peace that is unexplainable to some. When I speak of this connection, I am not speaking of a connection with a friend, or family member in your view but a relationship with our almighty heavenly father. In order to be connected spiritually you must employ a few principles that will help aide you in obtaining this experience. This may include but is not limited to seeking self-discovery, one’s identity and purpose, and gaining insight for your life. Through establishing a relationship with our heavenly father you will gain insight for your life. We also should Pray, a prayer filled life will yield joy and satisfaction.
  • Physically Fit– The art of being physically fit comes in many forms. It’s not just looking like a body builder (not targeting you if you are) but it’s you entirely, your whole form, your whole body. We must be an advocate for our own bodies, which is a temple. When you take on a different view, because you only get one body is this life, you make an effort, a commitment to change. The ability to live a healthier life is obtainable, through preventive care, a balanced diet, exercising regularly and engaging in healthy habits you can eliminate ill health.
  • Mentally Prepared– Our mental status stands for a lot in our lives, and our ability to get through a day. It’s our orientation of time, place and person. It encompasses our ability to focus, concentrate and reason. A view into one’s mental state can be surprising for some, especially if we think we have it all together. Some areas to review are in self-care by utilizing relaxation and stress management techniques. We should also learn to intercept and remove negative thoughts through reciting affirmations, and meditating.
  • Socially Supported– Are you really supported socially and does it even matter? Well in this life we need relationships; yes no one should decide to be an island alone. So with that in mind, strive to nurture positive relationships with your family and friends, obtaining a solid support system. Get involved in a community activity; strive to help someone who is in need. As I always do everything in moderation, discernment and as I like to say, protect your head space, this includes the company you keep as well.
  • Emotionally Sound– Our emotions can take us in so many directions, but what we have to understand and know is how to control them. If we allow our emotions to dictate our life, we can find ourselves in some hard places, often. Some questions to ask yourself: Are you aware of your feelings and if so, can you accept them? How are you coping with stressors, and what does your relationship status with others reveal? What are your defense mechanisms? Make it point to get a hold of your emotions; strive to think first before you act.
  • Intellectual Stimulated- How to stimulate your intellectual state, read. When you read, read with purpose, knowledge is power. Studies show we actually only use 10% of our brains. Sounds like there is room for improvements. Try expanding your vocabulary and mind the growth will be inevitable. If you are are going to engage in apps on your smart phone, try games that feed your brain not just maintain it.
  • Financially Smart- Are you living from paycheck to paycheck? This is a question we often see, as well as do you have 3 months of income in your bank account? For many that would be no, is it easy, well it can be.  Sounds crazy but it’s true, if we think about the money we spend on things we do not really need. There is definitely a struggle with the wants vs. the needs. As the economy strives, you strive, making wise choices with purchases, really look at the need vs the want. Start investing to ensure you have funds for the future by establishing a 401k. Get into the savings game, it’s essential that we have money when needed; a solid financial plan yields success every time.
